Peter Bauert: Parallels Launches World’s Only Control Panel to Support IPV6
A leader in the virtualization and automation software industry, Parallels announced the release of Plesk Panel 10.2 during the WorldHostingDay held in Germany last March 22 to 25, 2011.
Peter Bauert, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Parallels, applauds the company’s latest innovation in cloud services. Another world’s first, Plesk Panel 10.2 is the only control panel application worldwide capable of supporting IPV6. Its release has already gained the attention of industry experts describing it as a breakthrough in the delivery of cloud services that is considerably the most lucrative, comprehensive, and convenient to use control panel application the industry has developed.
Apart from being the only control panel that currently supports IPv6, other features include Server Name Indication (SNI) support and IPv4 addresses preservation. It also includes a series of social networking tools integrated with Sitebuilder. As parallels latest innovation, it is expected to enable faster delivery with two times lesser resource footprint in virtualized environments.

- Supports a wider range of OS including OpenSUSE 11.3, Ubuntu 10.4, Debian 6.0, Red Hat 6, CentOS 5.5
- Sitebuilder now includes a hoster site template providing host businesses a more efficient and easy-to-use interface
